Change the World
Saving water is something we all know we should do, but more often than not, we don’t. But the fact is, if we could make small changes daily habits, then we could do a lot for our environment and even something for our wallets.
By turning off the water while shampooing and conditioning in the shower, the average family could save up to $100 and 3200 gallons of water per year. If you shorten your shower time by two minutes, you could save up to $150 and 4600 gallons of water each year.
At Suave, we have run our Turn-Off-the-Tap initiative for the last three years to encourage shorter showers. This year, we partnered in the Nature Conservancy to help spread awareness.
We also believe it is so important to educate our future generations on what habits will create a sustainable and bright future for them and the planet that they will inherit. Which is why Suave Kids ran a program with Great Wolf Lodge — the first and only Green Seal certified national hotel chain — to promote water conservation amongst our youngest generation.
